PUSHPA SAMA Peacefully following a sudden illness on Saturday, August 19, 2000 at 4:30 am in the Victoria General Hospital, Pushpa Sama passed away at the age of 66 years. Pushpa was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a great friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 45 years, Raj Sama; her mother Sushila (Biji) brother Vinod; sister Raj; her son Sanjeev (Monique) Daughters, Annu (Ashok) Dilawri and Seema (Sanjiv) Mehrotra. She also leaves her seven grandchildren, Dhiya, Kabeir, Anika, Sanjana, Priya, Suvir and Rajesh as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 21 at 3:30 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Prayers will follow at the Hindu Temple, 854 Ellice Ave. between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Lipson and the nursing staff of the Emergency ICU at the Victoria General Hospital for their loving care.
